AUSTEN V. PATTERSON

Hey there! I’m Austen Patterson, owner/founder of The Champagne Xperience, LLC and Dermaglow Aesthetics, LLC located in the great city of Atlanta, Georgia. Born and raised in Birmingham Alabama and a recent graduate of Paul Mitchell The School Esani.

I’ve always had a strong passion for all things beauty. At an early age, I would spend hours at my aunt’s beauty salon watching her do makeup, hair and much more, which sparked a strong interest in the field of skin and makeup.

I started out as a College Makeup Artist at The University of Alabama, taking face models out of the bathroom of my apartment and working part-time as an artist for MAC Cosmetics. After much practice and countless cases of imposter syndrome, in 2015, I began providing makeup services part-time under the name “Painted By Peezy” (later rebranded to The Champagne Xperience) while maintaining my hours at MAC.

In 2018, I decided to get up and move to Atlanta to pursue makeup full-time. I had a couple thousand dollars in my savings and a whole lot of faith. I have always viewed makeup as a luxury. I strive to provide each and every client that comes into my studio with an experience, rather than just a service. In 2021, I took that love for beauty and created one of the most inclusive cosmetic lines on the market. With that, I began The Pop Up, an annual pop up shop located in Atlanta, Georgia that showcases women owned businesses.

Always having had a passion for skin and makeup, I obtained my license in Esthetics in May 2022. I have an undeniable passion and vision to develop The Champagne Xperience into a luxurious cosmetics company that services women from all walks of life.
